Michael Bowers is a part-time writer, part-time program manager and 30-year veteran of the United States Air Force. Originally from Greenville South Carolina, he now resides in Dayton Ohio with his gorgeous wife Diane. Michael has two surviving adult children; Justin, a business owner, personal trainer in Greer, South Carolina; and Brandon, a full-time student completing his graduate’s program, while working full time as a manager at a local theater. Sadly, his daughter Crystal succumbed to Cystic Fibrosis in 2016.

 

Michael has circled the globe many times and has met thousands of individuals over the years. He draws a lot of his motivation and ideas from those military and personal travels. His stories and characters tend to be conceptions of his realities; or at least the realities that he perceives.

 

Not every story has a picture book ending; not every love will last forever; not every paradise will be nirvana. Michael’s books explore life’s challenges, its ups and downs. The unexpected that creeps in from out of nowhere; or the humor that can only be understood by individuals that are soulmates. Every story has a true aspect to it. He enhances the romance, family, and even the darker sides of life with detailed character development and picturesque scene descriptions.
